On Sunday, April 11th 2010, I got proposed. But it doesn’t like the regular proposal that couples usually going through.. <you know, with rings, bunch of close relatives, blablabla> hahaha.. Well actually it was supposed to be a “introduction” day between two families. But somehow, after my bf’s dad had a good conversation with my dad, my bf’s family decided to “ask” my dad about proposing me for his son. Wow, it’s kinda shocked us (me, and my parents), because we thought that “the proposal” will be discussed after both families know each other (at least not at the first time they meet..LOL)
When I ask my bf about it after his family got back home, he just say, “well honey, that’s my parents, when they feel sure, that you and your family are a nice, and religious family, they feel relieved and save to have a daughter in law like you, and to have a new relative like your family. They’re simple. And they trust me.” hahahaha… i was laughed, and very happy at the same time. So, from now on, we have to prepare for our upcoming wedding, which will be held insya Allah on XX-th (censored 
) October 2010. Yup, the date is settled, for a practical reason.
