Jatuuuh Cintrooong sama….

Kebaya gueeeeeeeeeeee!!!!

hasil payetnya oke bangeeeet euy.. suasana meriahnya dapet banget.. aura Minangnya kerasa banget a.k.a sangat merah dan meriah.. huahahaha.. setelah molor 8 hari dari waktu yang ditentukan, dan sempet ada kejadian bahan songket untuk rok gw “keselip” alias blm dijahit karena ga ketemu bahannya pas tanggal 25 September  itu. Tapi akhirnya semua jadi jugaaaa. kemarin. Alhamdulillah.. Dan kemarin si cami pun berhasil gw bikin speechless and ngeliatin gw trus sambil senyum2 berkomentar, “wah, ini mah nanti pelaminan n masnya udah ga kliatan, semua fokus ke kebaya ola..hahaha.” Gw ketawa aja deh dengernya.. hahahahahaha.. Doi seneng banget lah ngeliatnya. Dia bilang kebaya yang dipajang disitu jadi “nothing” gitu.. wakakakak..

Apa yang Sudah?

Akhirnya kemarin saya ke QZM untuk fitting.. huaaaa, kaget banget sama kebayanya. keren banget, walau belum dipayet tapi mewahnya udah dapet banget. Soalnya kan emang bahannya sendiri udah rame. huehehe.. Di bagian perut dan punggungnya itu full sama bunga2 yang dari bahan tulle. dan rapi banget euy cara mereka nempelin bunga2 itu ke tulle polos warna merahnya. huaaah, jadi ngebayangin betapa pegelnya orang2 yang nanti akan bertugas memayet kebaya saya..

Tapi kebaya saya jadinya malah bernuansa hitam – abu2 – merah,  karena bahan tulle dan apilikasi bunga2nya memang cenderung ke warna hitam. Tapi nanti si bunga2 itu akan ditutupi oleh full payet bunga berwarna silver – merah.  No worries. Anyway, yang paling bikin kaget adalah di bagian lengannya. huahahahaha, ga nyangka dibikin segede itu gelembungnya.. Trus saya jadi merasa sedikit tidak PEDE dengan si gelembung2 itu. Akhirnya saya minta mba Ani untuk sedikit “mengempiskan” gelembung yang ada di lengan itu. FYI buat yang ga ngerti maksud gelembung2 itu, bisa diliat di posting saya sebelumnya tentang model kebaya yang saya contoh di SINI.

I’ve already put my mom’s textiles and mine at QZM.. When I was there, I saw couple of pretty Kebayas that will be pick up by the costumers. But still, I’m feeling a lil bit nervous about this. Because I never sew anything in this place before. What I’m most afraid of is that they couldn’t finish my Kebaya on-time..

Oooooh hopefully they could finish it on time.. They promised me to finish it on September, 25th. I hope they will keep their promise. And thank God that the place isn’t far from my campus, so that I could check the progress everytime I go to the campus.. *parno.exe*

and off course, I’ll be as fussy as possible with them..

and I hope it’s worth the price..

Tanah Abang: Textile Paradise

Holla! Today my mom and I went to Sunan Giri market a.k.a Pasar Sunan Giri.. hohoho.. Yep, I finally decided to sew my wedding reception’s Kebaya.. And we decided to have a Minang modification reception.. Ahay, why why why? because I wanna wear that silver Sunting! I love to see BCL wearing that thing on her head..

keyeeeeeeen.. I’m proud to be a minang woman.. hahaha..

So there were we.. after having a pleasant conversation with QZM crew (she told us the textiles that need to be bought), we’re going to Brother’s Land a.k.a Tanah Abang, looking for a glamorous-affordable textile for my kebaya.. At first I was insist on having a super red kebaya, with silver Obi and a red ribbon in the middle of the obi.. so the silver will gonna be an accent only.. But but but.. After searching for a while, suddenly I can’t take my eyes off on a sparkling black tulle with silver flowers accent in it.. wahahahahaha, what an inconsistent person!! Yep the accents and the embroidery will be all silver, and grey.. aaaaaahhhh, now where should I put the red color??? Off course I put it as a backdress (haduh, pokoke vuringnya daaagh).. But after buying that textile, I see some bright red textiles calling on my name.. SHoooottt!! and also a black tile with red flowers in it..aaaarrggh, thank you very much bro!! and yep, I bought “the” black tulle for my seserahan, thank God it’s quite affordable and fit in to my kebaya-seserahan budget.. and I also bought a gold satin for it.. yup yup yup, let’s mix it up!!

We also bought some textiles for my mommas, and for my sistas.. Moms will be wearing a dark purple tulle, with a lighter purple satin in it.. So elegant may I say.. My sistas will be wearing a black tulle with red flowers and gold thread as accent, they will put a red satin behind it.. it’ll be S.E.X.Y…
