Hari ini saya baruu aja beli bantal2 baru untuk di kamar dooonks. hihihihii.. *ga penting dahsyat* Trus juga baruu aja mesen gorden serut tempel untuk di kamaaaar.. hahahaha *tambah ga penting* Trus trus udah beli cat jugaa untuk rapih2in cat kamar yang udah mulai suramm… Tapi tapiiih blom ada tukangnya doooonksssss.. wakakakakak *senewen*. Bedcover pun belum dibeli dooonkss, rencananya mau beli jadi aja deh, abis kalo mesen udah ga keburu lagiii…

~ Suscaten Kilat ~

Tadi pagi saya dan cami telah menunaikan ibadah Suscaten di KUA Menteng.. Yaah, seperti suscaten2 pada umumnya, kita dijelaskan tentang isi Undang2 Pernikahan th. 1974.. Trus, tentang rukun nikah, syarat nikah, tata cara ijab qobul, sampai do’a untuk malam pertama nanti.. hihihi, biar ga diintip setan katanya.. hahahaha.. dan kita juga dikasih buku saku tentang panduan pernikahannya.. Suscatennya juga ga lama kok ,cuma 2 jam.. Tapi ya gitu, pake ngaret seperti biasa.. hehe.. Molor 1 jam dari waktu yang sudah ditetapkan..

A Small World Called Jatinegara

Yesterday my mom and I went to Jatinegara market to find souvenirs and ring holder for akad.. After looking in several stores, finally we got the right store to order the souvenirs. The store’s name is Maulana Souvenir.

So, the souvenirs will be a Tissue holder which made from satin, in maroon and cream colors, and it’ll be placed  in a box with mica, and wrapped by a maroon ribbon.  We got Rp 4.000 per each souvenir. and we’ve ordered for 400 pieces. Hmm, I think it’s a great deal. I don’t have the sample picture, but I promise I will post it as soon as I get them.. (They say it will be ready in 2 weeks).

And after paying the Down Payment with a debit card (cool!they got the machine.. Coz I didn’t bring enough money to pay the DP.. ), I was searching on a ring holder (still in the same store). And then I got a heart shaped ring holder with 2 swans and fake roses in it.. They said, the rings will be placed on that swans and we can use the box for mahar. We got it for Rp 35.000. Quite expensive I think.. hehehehe..

Ok, the thingy is DONE! It’s time to eat! Yay, I always wanna eat at this place when I was visiting Jatinegara. It’s SATE PADANG! My mom used to bring me here since I was a little kid. And now I got the chance to take their pictures, hahahaha.. I eat Sate along with Es Campur. Aaaaaah, what a delicious supper.. hahaha..

Ring O’ Ring

♥~ This is it! Our wedding ring! ~♥

We have ordered it in Toko Mawar at Mega Bekasi Hypermall. Less than 2 weeks, they already informed me that the ring is ready. Well, the result is okay. Not the best, but it’s worth the price, however..

The hand made quality is fair enough, even though I have a little correction on the doff area. But in 30 minutes, they can fixed it right away. Great!

About the silver, hmm.. I don’t know… Maybe it’s because the silver is standing next to the white gold, so it looks very average compared to the white gold.. The hand made is not so good either, (again) compared to my ring..

So here’s the details:

Bride’s Ring –> 4,11 gr white gold 75%, and 0,10 ct diamond.

Groom’s ring –> 5,23 gr silver

4,11 gr white gold = Rp 1.233.000

0,10 ct diamond = Rp 1.350.000

5,23 gr silver = Rp 156.900

Hand made cost for 1 pair ring = Rp 450.000

Sum = Rp 3.189.900

But totally, we paid it for Rp 3.140.000

Mahar = Art on the wall?????

I don’t get the point why people nowadays seem to like to hang their “Mahar” on the wall…

What’s the point?? I thought Mahar is something that entirely belong to the moslem bride, that can be useful for her own needs. Something worthy. It’s like the first “nafkah” from our husband. And I couldn’t see, why on earth, women love to make a creation from the money, and they frame it, and then they hang it on the wall. Isn’t it mubazir?? Isn’t useless??? zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz…

Mahar dan Nilai Nominal

Mahar ini pada hakikatnya dinilai dengan nilai uang, sebab mahar adalah harta, bukan sekedar simbol belaka. Itulah sebabnya seorang dibolehkan menikahi budak bila tidak mampu memberi mahar yang diminta oleh wanita merdeka. Kata ‘tidak mampu’ ini menunjukkan bahwa mahar di masa lalu memang benar-benar harta yang punya nilai nominal tinggi. Bukan semata-mata simbol seperti mushaf Al-Quran atau benda-benda yang secara nominal tidak ada harganya.

Hal seperti ini yang di masa sekarang kurang dipahami dengan cermat oleh kebanyakan wanita muslimah. Padahal mahar itu adalah nafkah awal, sebelum nafkah rutin berikutnya diberikan suami kepada istri. Jadi sangat wajar bila seorang wanita meminta mahar dalam bentuk harta yang punya nilai nominal tertentu. Misalnya uang tunai, emas, tanah, rumah, kendaraan, deposito syariah, saham, kontrakan, perusahaan atau benda berharga lainnya.

Adapun mushaf Al-Quran dan seperangkat alat shalat, tentu saja nilai nominalnya sangat rendah, sebab bisa didapat hanya dengan beberapa puluh ribu rupiah saja. Sangat tidak wajar bila calon suamiyang punya penghasilan menengah, tetapi hanya memberi mahar semurah itu kepada calon istrinya.

Hunting Part 3: Wedding Ring

Today we’re going to Novotel Mangga 2, where my bf’s dad a.k.a my dad in-law-to-be stays there to attend seminars at that hotel. But before we go to Novotel, we first went to MAG (Mall Artha Gading). It’s been a long time since we’ve watched movies on cinema. Especially for the last 3 weeks.. when all we could think about is the wedding. I personally think that it’s unhealthy if we’re too focusing on the wedding (only), and “forget” about the essential of our relationship and the chemistry itself. So, here we are, waiting for Iron Man 2! yippy..

After we watched Iron Man 2 (geez, I envy Scarlett Johansson’s body (as always)!!! ), I asked my bf to survey the wedding ring on “Soulmate“.  They have a small store on MAG. Well actually I already see some of their gorgeous wedding rings on facebook.  That’s why I insist my bf to go there.. huahahaha *evil grin*. The prices are average for a pair of wedding ring. And it also depends on how many grams of gold do you want to have, and how big the diamond you wanna put in it.  Well… Picking wedding ring is really a heavy job for me. I barely couldn’t make a decision on THE ring. So, after a patient guidance from Mr. Charly on picking it, I managed *pfiuh* to pick ONLY one of them.   After a long battle between the classic ring, and the celtic-look-alike ring, I finally have a winner. But I’m not gonna tell you which is it..
